FIELD: containers for load transportation and temporary storage, particularly ones used in mail service and storage facilities.

SUBSTANCE: container comprises body with right door having locking device and with left door. Container also has platform used as container bottom, wheels, brake means, drag means and fixer. Front wheels, which rotate about vertical axis, are directly connected to platform and linked to front control arm through lever system of double parallel link mechanism, which provides synchronization of front wheels and front control arm rotation about vertical axis. Rear wheels are fixed to platform and are linked to rear control arm by means of another lever system of double parallel link mechanism, which provides synchronization of rear wheels and rear control arm rotation about vertical axis. Front and rear control arms are made as vertical clips. Braking means comprises two pedals arranged from rear and front container sides and shaped as double-armed levers provided with fixers at ends thereof. Each pedal may be in two stable positions, namely in brake activated and brake deactivated ones.

EFFECT: increased container maneuverability and convenience and decreased labor intensity for container handling and braking, as well as increased braking reliability.
