FIELD: finishing materials used in architecture and construction engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed wall panel made from artificial stone includes artificial stone containing inorganic grain component at size of grains from 9.5 mm to 180 mcm, inorganic fine-grain component at size of particles lesser than 180 mcm and resin component in the amount of 7 to 30 mass-% in terms of common mass; ratio of inorganic grain component to inorganic fine-grain component ranges from 1:1 to 5:1. Support for attachment of stone to wall surface which is partially bare is sunken in rear or edge part of stone surface. Specification describes the method of manufacture of such wall panel. Proposed artificial stone may be used as high-contrast finishing material perceived as natural material. Procedure of attachment of such material is facilitated.
EFFECT: increased productivity; enhanced workability of stone; low cost.
