FIELD: press cloth used in papermaking industry, in particular, utilization of press cloths in pressing section of papermaking machine.
SUBSTANCE: press cloth comprises bearing carcass formed as endless closed belt, first web of staple fiber connected to outer side of bearing carcass, thin fine-meshed cloth, and second web of staple fiber connected to outer side of fine-meshed cloth. Second web staple fibers are thinner than first web staple fibers. Thin fine-meshed cloth prevents fibers of first and second webs from mixing.
EFFECT: provision for producing of continuous paper free of indents, and minimized probability for repeated moistening of cloth.
