FIELD: ironmongery, particularly locks.

SUBSTANCE: magnetic lock unit comprises locking member movably connected to the first object, for instance to door, and fixer arranged in the second, opposite object, for example in door case. Locking member includes locking lever, hook connected to remote end of locking lever and the first magnet installed in the hook. The fixer comprises body with cavity and the second magnet. The cavity comprises the first horizontal passage and the second vertical passage communicated with the first horizontal one. The second magnet has magnetic pole with polarity opposite to that of the first magnet. As the first and the second magnets move one towards another locking lever slides into the first passage. After full lock head arrangement in the first passage both magnets are operatively connected with each other to urge locking member movement from horizontal passage into vertical one and to force locking member or head thereof into engagement with one body end used as the fixer.

EFFECT: simplified structure, possibility of smooth and efficient locking of two mutually movable objects.
