FIELD: parachute technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of simulators for training parachutists. The simulator for ground training of a parachutist contains a fixed frame, front and rear U-shaped struts, a parachute suspension system, a moving carriage, an electric motor for automatically moving the carriage along the fixed frame from the front U-shaped strut to the rear U-shaped strut, a landing platform, a step for a jump, an operator's workplace, a base, a brake mechanism for a carriage, a system of sensors and cables, a virtual reality helmet. The rear U-shaped rack is higher than the front U-shaped rack, due to which the fixed frame is located at an angle relative to the axis parallel to the surface of the Earth, and the carriage can move from the rear U-shaped rack to the front U-shaped rack due to the action of the Earth's gravity.
EFFECT: increased level of training of parachutists.
