SUBSTANCE: saline soils desalination method includes laying deep blind drainage, plot planning, making checks, cutting supply channels, supplying wash water to plot and its drain with solute salts through drainage to receiving basin. Before start of washing, salicornia seeds are sown on desalinated plot, then checks are filled with mineralised water in 5-15 cm layer for 2-3 hours, after which water feed to checks is stopped, and repeated check flooding is done in 2-3 days. Alternation of mineralised water feed and 2-3 day breaks is to be continued over the entire vegetation period till salicornia ripening. Then checks are drained, plants are mown and removed from desalinated plot. Plot soils are washed with fresh water till required desalination level.

EFFECT: diminished desalination time; diminished fresh water flow; compensation of desalination expenses.
