FIELD: weapons and ammunition; single use hand-held grenade launcher.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents hand-held grenade launcher, comprising launch tube-container, which hosts barrel with a grenade and engine, front and rear covers, triggering mechanism with an arm. Launch tube-container contains front and rear flanges, coaxially installed onto its end faces so that not block outlet hole. Front cover is done as ballistic safety cap ogive, emerging from barrel. Rear cover is done as spherical pinion cage with beading, installed until bumping to inner circular pocket in the rear flange, and is coaxially snug through beading with a threaded ring, centered upon inner surface of rear flange. Inner surface of threaded ring rear part is done as expanding bevel. Cover beading contains released circular seal. A gasket seal is installed between outer surface of cover beading and surface of inner circular pocket of rear flange.

EFFECT: decrease of perturbation action on grenade at release from barrel; increase of grenade launcher safety by lessening dnagerous zone in aft quadrant.
