FIELD: engines; aero engine construction.

SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring transhipment, separation of aerodynamic resistance forces along the related "ГЛЛ" axis, terrestrial gravity and engine traction forces and determination of acceleration from traction force during flight. Initially, the angles of orientation of the measuring axes of three accelerometers relative to the construction axis oX1 "ГЛЛ" are calculated using the known "ГЛЛ" aerodynamic characteristics, and consequently, from the conditions of equilibrium of the total aerodynamic force vector, the minimum and maximum sensitivities of the accelerometers to fluctuations of the drift angle, which are calculated from the partial derivative of the aerodynamic coefficients with respect to the drift angle. Then the accelerometers are positioned at the centre of gravity of "ГЛЛ" according to the design angles. From the results of measuring transhipment during flight the traction force is calculated.

EFFECT: accuracy increment and authenticity in determining the traction force of an engine during unstable activity and high frequent fluctuations of "ГЛЛ" drift angle.
