SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of fighting rodents. X. Rodenticide composition comprises (a) water as the dispersion medium; (b) thickening agent selected from the group comprising derivatives of cellulose, xanthans, alginetes, carrageenan, agar-agar, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyacrylic acid, polymethacrylic acid, highly dispersed silicon dioxide and bentonites, (c) active substance, diphethialone, (d) lure selected from the group of vegetative and animal food products and fodder crops; (e) preservatives. The above components are taken in the ratio as follows, % thickening agent selected from the above group 0.3-15, the above active substance 0.0005-1, lure from the above group 10-80, preservatives 0.01-2, water, the rest. The composition is designated for fighting grievous rodents. The lure contains the above composition.

EFFECT: invention enables one to implement the above designation.
