FIELD: textiles; paper.
SUBSTANCE: method of transferring an image from material for cold staining onto plant flowers lies in that, the image printed on the material is cut and put in water for a while, until the layer with the image can move relative to the paper carrier. The layer with the image is then fully separated from the paper carrier and put in the second liquid for at least 10 seconds. The liquid can be water and sugar solution with a 20% mass component of sugar, or linseed solution with a 30% mass component of linseed, or gelatine solution with approximately 15% mass component of gelatine. Before transfer of the layer with the image on to the flower, part of the flower is exposed to optical radiation with wavelength between 625 nm and 660 nm. Exposure time is not less than 3000 lux. The layer with the image is then transferred onto the flower.
EFFECT: invention allows for transfer of an image on to a plant flower and broadens the range of decorative products made from flowers.
