FIELD: mechanic.
SUBSTANCE: machine contains wire feeding mechanism, cutting device, knitting head designed as a rotational spinner with a detent and moving in the vertical direction, and wire tying mechanism. The cutting mechanism is provided with a device for measuring the cross-sleepers perimeter, designed as a frame with an elevator table. On the table, two drives are installed, interacting with spikes moving along the guides. One end of the spikes is connected by flexible element with the support and shears, which are located at both sides of the device, relative to its axis, and have the possibility of swinging about their horizontal axes; the other flexible measuring element of the spikes is connected to the device frame. On the device frame, inclined spring-loaded rollers are installed, also having the possibility of swinging about their horizontal axis.
EFFECT: increases quality of cross-sleepers tying and saves tying wire.
