FIELD: siderurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the siderurgy; specifically, composition of cast iron. It can be used to manufacture furnace parts, parts for cement kilns, cooktops of burners and electric hot plates. The cast iron mass composition is comprised of in %: carbon 2.7-3.3; silicon 1.7-2.3; manganese 2.0-3.0; nitrogen 0.03-0.08; REM (rare-earth metals) 0.1-0.2; aluminium 2.0-2.5; nickel 2.0-2.5; vanadium 0.1-0.15; copper 0.3-0.5; iron - remaining. Cast iron possesses high thermal and oxidation resistance.
EFFECT: procurement of cast iron possessing high thermal and oxidation resistance.
