FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. The iron contains components at the following ratio, mass.%: carbon 2.5-3.0; silicon 3.0-3.5; manganese 0.5-1.0; copper 0.5-1.0; nickel 1.0-1.5; chromium 0.3-0.5; vanadium 0.1-0.2; aluminium 0.1-0.2; boron 0.03-0.05; REM (rare earth metals) 0.05-0.1; molybdenum 3.0-3.5; magnesium 0.005-0.01; cobalt 0.5-1.0; nitrogen 0.03-0.05; iron constitutes the remaining percentage. The invention facilitates upgrading of iron strength.
