FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to engines on basis of electro jet plasmic engines of orbital and interplanetary space crafts. The essence of the method consists in the following: at changes of surplus power of a primary electrical power source (a solar battery) a consumption of working medium per second is changed inversely proportional, while an input power of the electro plasmic engine jet is changed directly proportional to electrical power source, thus maintaining the traction force of the engine constant. The device, implementing this method, comprises two circuits, one of which adjusts working medium consumption and provides the full utilization of surplus power of the primary electrical power source supplied to the engine, while another adjusts input power of the engine and provides accuracy of traction force stabilization. The device facilitates saving of working medium and reduction of mass of a charged propulsion device.
