FIELD: heating, heat exchanging.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for heat exchange and may be used in other devices for gas or fluid heating or cooling. A heat exchanger contains parallel sections comprising bank of ribbed straight tubes, at the ends of which a collector and side pieces with brackets for fastening the heat exchanger are mounted. Moreover, the collectors are tube-shaped, mounted at the end of each section and connected in series by means of tubular elbows, and each side piece is rigidly connected with the ribs of the outer sections. To this effect U-shaped elements may be provided in the points of connection between the side pieces and the ribs, and the edges of said elements embrace the ribs of the outer sections. The heat exchanger fastening brackets may be made integral with the side pieces. In one of the possible heat exchanger embodiments side pieces are symmetrically, rigidly connected with the ribs of one of the outer sections and the ends of side piece opposite faces are connected to one another.
EFFECT: reducing the negative effects of metal thermal expansions on the structural elements.
