FIELD: instruments.
SUBSTANCE: device for measuring the thermal conductivity of ferric materials consists of ferromagnetic disk with an axis of rotation and permanent magnet. In the permanent magnet gap, an edge of the above ferromagnetic disk, a heater, and a cooler are located. These are installed at the different sides of the permanent magnet gap; and their thermal contact with the ferromagnetic disk is provided. The latter is made of the ferric material under research.
EFFECT: possibility to measure thermal conductivity of ferric materials with visualisation of heat conductance process by ferromagnetic disk rotation.
