FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for magnetic viscosity measurement in ferromagnets includes constant magnet with saturating magnetic field in its gap and ferromagnetic body of magnet viscous material in the form of two discs with separate rotation axes and similar torques, placed in this gap. Disc edges are positioned in the constant magnet gap, discs are rotated by momentarily applied torques in opposite directions, so that disc rotation is maintained at angular velocity mainly equal in magnitude and depending on load attached to indicated rotation axes. Disc rotation axes are connected respectively to rotor and stator of three-phase synchro dynamotor with constant magnet rotor and stator consisting of three symmetrical electromagnetic circuits with windings connected to connected load with variable parametres and to frequency gauge of electric oscillation excited in dynamotor. Two discs of ferromagnetic viscous material are spun by feeding voltage with frequency ω>ω0 to stator windings, where ω0=L/1.4 τ R is angular frequency of alternate voltage produced by dynamotor, corresponding to torque maximum for ferromagnetic discs, L is magnetic gap length in constant magnet, R is disc radius.

EFFECT: possibility of measuring magnetic viscosity constant of ferromagnets.
