FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass compositions that may be used in production of fancy glassware, utility glassware. The glass contains SiO2, CaO, Na2O, K2O, CeO2 and, additionally, B2O3, BaO, Na3AlF6 in the following ratio of components, percent by mass: SiO2 - 60-63, CaO - 8-10, Na2O - 10-12, K2O - 6-8, CeO2 - 1-1.5, B2O3 - 10-12, BaO - 1-1.5, Na3AlF6 - 1.5-2.5.
EFFECT: increase in glass refractive index and decrease in glass melting temperature.
