FIELD: construction, hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to environmental landscaping and can be used as an erosion preventive measure for slopes and other objects. The erosion preventive structure for slopes consists of mesh grid. On the slope across the surface run-off, spillways are installed made from meshed parabolic cylinders with cross-section oriented to the discharge flow and there is a mesh grid wrapped around a filler, laid down during preparation of the slope, and tying it to the lower netting with a spillway basin at the output. The input part of the spillway is deepened. There is determination of the projection of the length of the formed terraces between the spillways and the number of terraces or the number of spillways on the given dependencies. The technical outcome lies in the increased capacity, efficiency and reliability of protecting slopes from water erosion and longer service life of the structure.
