SUBSTANCE: present invention describes source and method of power supply for fuel element system that is connected to the line. Power supply source for fuel element system connected to the line includes the following: memorizing module for memorizing of normal domain and warning domain in accordance with working conditions and to dependence between output voltage and output current of fuel element; detection module for detection of collective supply current; and control module for discovery of fuel element working point and generation of control signal for changing output current of fuel element on the basis of discovered working point position and detection or non-detection of collective supply current.
EFFECT: improves efficiency and stability of fuel element operation.
