FIELD: woodwork.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wood working industry, in particular, to wood construction structure elements. The log has a central part made in the form of a cant and end rails, each of which has one lengthwise flat surface and one bulged surface and is attached with its flat surface, by means of an adhesive interlayer to respective lateral surface of the central part. Adhesive interlayers attaching the end rails to the central part are made each of them, in the form of two lengthwise strips arranged with a gap there between along the edges of adjoining surfaces of the central part and the end rails. The end rails are segments of the whole log sapwood parts.
EFFECT: higher log life, smaller number of cracks on the log surface.
