FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates, in particular, to glass compounds, which can be used for making containers and vessels. The glass consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO₂ 65.0-70.0; Al₂O₃ 6.0-8.0; MgO 13.0-17.0; CaO 3.0-5.0; Na₂O 1.1-2.5; Fe₂O₃ 0.3-0.5; TiO₂ 1.0-2.0; B₂O₃ 2.0-3.0. The glass can contain extra Cr₂O₃ with percentage mass ratio of 0.2-0.4%.

EFFECT: increased thermal stability of the glass.
