FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of enamels for coating products from cast iron and steel. Technical result of the invention lies in increase of impact strength of enamel coating and reduction of duration of enamel cooking. Enamel contains the following components, mass %: SiO2 - 40.0-45.0; Al2O3 - 1.2-1.6; CaO - 8.0-10.0; MgO - 1.5-3.0; Na2O - 18.0-22.0; TiO2 - 10.0-15.0; Fe2O3 - 0.2-0.4; K2O - 1.0-2.0; Cr2O3 - 0.2-0.4; Na2SiF6 - 5.5-8.0; B2O3 - 3.0-4.0.
EFFECT: increase of impact strength of enamel coating and reduction of duration of enamel cooking.
