SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and relates to glass compounds, used for making, preferably, decorative-art products. The red glass consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO2 43.0-48.0; CaO 15.0-18.0; Al2O3 8.0-10.0; Se 0.2-0.4; CdO 0.6-1.0; B2O3 1.0-2.0; Na2O 8.0-10.0; CdS 1.2-1.6; ZnO 4.0-6.0; K2O 10.0-12.0.
EFFECT: increased thermal expansion coefficient of the glass.
