SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and relates to compounds of unfritted glaze, which can be used, for instance, in the production of faced tiles. The glaze consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO₂ 38.0-42.0; Al₂O₃ 8.0-12.0; CaO 8.0-10.0; MgO 1.0-2.0; Na₂O 2.0-4.0; K₂O 1.0-2.0; B₂O₃ 17.5-21.0; ZnO 1.5-3.0; MnO 0.3-0.5; Fe₂O₃ 3.0-4.0; TiO₂1.5-3.0; BaO 1.5-2.7; SrO 4.5-6.0.

EFFECT: increased frost resistance of the glaze.
