FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to vibration noise-attenuating materials, based on bituminous mixtures and designed for use in motor-car construction. The vibration noise-attenuating sheet material is described. It is made from a mixture based on bitumen with chalk filler. It is unique in that, the material has micro-spheres made from a water suspension of ashes from a thermal electric power plant. The products of thermal polymerisation are unsaturated aromatic hydrocarbons - "Polyter" resin, di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phthalate ester and unconditiones basalt wool, with the following mass percentages of the compounds: 20.0 - 26.0 % petroleum bitumen; 15.0 - 17.0 % micro-spheres made from a water suspension of ashes from a thermal electric power plant; 6.0 - 10.0 % unconditioned basalt wool.
EFFECT: wider range of vibration noise-attenuating equipment, improved vibration-attenuating and strength properties of with simultaneous lowering of mass; exclusion of carcinogenic asbestos from the formula.
