FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stiff viscoelastic materials to be used for damping and noise killing in machine building, construction, etc. Proposed material is made of hardened damping graphite-bearing putty. Invention relates also to the method for reduction of structure vibration and noise with application of above described material.
EFFECT: better insulating properties, unlimited shelf life.
