FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the mining industry, particularly to the rock-breaking tools, namely to diamond drilling bits. The diamond drilling bit has a frame with the washover openings and working sectors. The working sectors include diamond-bearing and welding layers firmly affixed to the inserted abrasive piece. The front diamond-bearing layer surface and the inserted abrasive piece surface are made on the basis of the second-degree surface. The surface axis lays in the horizontal plane being the boundary of the working and the welding layers, with its crossing point at the drilling bit axis, with the angular misalignment equal to the inserted abrasive piece width.
EFFECT: diamond drilling bit design simplification; increase in both endurance of the drilling bit and the mean diamond drilling speed.
