FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: cylinder for two-step engine with crankcase scavenging consists of a cylinder channel with central line and closed supply channels, located at the opposite sides of the cylinder. The lower side of the cylinder is perpendicular to the cylinder channel and intended to be connected to the crankcase in the division plane (A). The cylinder has an inlet hole for air-fuel mixture. The cylinder has, at least, one inlet hole for additional air supply to the combustion chamber. This hole comes through the cylinder wall, through a recess in the piston and through the feed hole down to the supply channels. Every supply channel has the upper section, coming from the feed hole in the tangential direction relative to the cylinder channel. Downstream this section, there is a rectangular bend, coming to the lower section, which protrudes to the division plane (A). At least, a rectangular bend of every supply channel is located at the opposite sides of gas-discharge channel. Supply channels come towards each other, at least, along a part of the rectangular bend.
EFFECT: reduction of resistance of flow; ability to use one cylinder with different crankcases.
