FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed diesel engine has its each combustion chamber consisting of cylinder bore or cylinder liner arranged in said bore, and piston reciprocating in cylinder bore or cylinder liner arranged opposite the piston. Note here that crankcase has coolant guides arranged so that cylinder bore or cylinder liner wall part on the side opposite the combustion chamber is flown by coolant. Cylinder head communicates with one or several combustion chambers and has spaces for coolants through which coolant flows. Said cylinder head accommodates gas exchange channels for each combustion chamber. It comprises also, at least, guides for, at least, one intake valve and, at least, one exhaust valve. Cooling plate is arranged between combustion chamber and cylinder head to cover combustion chamber generatrix. Said separate plate is jointed with geometrical closure and tightly with crankcase and/or cylinder head. Said plate accommodates valves seats of, at least, one intake valve, and, at least, one exhaust valve. At least, one valve nozzle passes through said plate.
EFFECT: increased ignition pressure.
