FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket engineering and can be used at design and manufacture of solid-fuel rocket charges molded within the engine case. The solid-fuel rocket charge molded within the rocket engine case, has a central cylinder channel, transferring to the slot section with the slots increasing in the height. Maximal height of the slot is 0.5-0.65 of the arch thickness. Base of the slot in the longitudinal cross-section is formed by two conic sections with slope angle to axis of chamber of channel-adjoining section of 25-33° and ratio between lengths of channel-adjoining section/mated section of 1:2.6. Profile of the slot in the cross-section is expanding towards the channel and is mated to the channel with radius equal to 0.05-0.1 of the arch thickness. Profile of the slot at the vertex along the section where slot expands, is made by mating of two radiuses, namely, radius equal to distance between charge axis and slot vertex, and radius equal to a half of the smallest slot width.
EFFECT: high coefficient of combustion chamber filling-in with fuel; strength balance of charge structure; constancy of law of variation of combustion surface along the arch.
