FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: solid-propellant charge strongly fastened with rocket engine case has central cylindrical passage changing to slotted section provided with slots smoothly increasing in height. Profile of slot in cross section at distance no less than 1/3 of its height from surface of passage is smoothly widening at maximum widening of base at outlet passage determined by the following formula: ρ = 2π•Rp/N•exp(1,5•(0,28-Kend), where Rp is radius of passage, N is number of slots and Kend is coefficient of end relief taking into account outer radius of charge, radius of passage and length of cylindrical portion of charge without taking into account slots. Angle of inclination of base of slots to axis of passage shall be between 35 and 60 deg. EFFECT: increased mass; enhanced strength and reliability. 3 dwg
