Controlling unit for process control valve is enclosed into a body with valve lid. The above controlling unit consists of valve plug (34). The plug (34) can be displaced from a number of working positions with regard to valve body. Valve plug is provided with a hole. Running valve pin is fixed to valve plug. There is a hole in running valve pin. It is in axial alignment to plug hole. Shut off element (42) is installed in pin hole and plug hole. Fixing element (56) with cylindrical part is mounted to lid. The cylindrical part is actually surrounds locking member in all working positions of valve plug. Process control valve equipped with the above controlling unit is provided. Method of valve plug fixing to valve pin in the above process control valve is provided.
