FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: practice round comprising a grenade body that is filled with a smoke-producing pyrotechnic composition and has an axial, bell-shaped flame passage and a spring packing washer placed onto a propellant powder charge. Inside the passage there is a nose fuze primer-detonator. In the bottom part of the body there is a central emission hole, closed with a blow-out cover. Said blow-out cover is provided with a collar flange that is supported by said packing washer of said propellant powder charge. A charge combustion chamber is rigidly connected to the blow-out cover by means of canting its end face onto a radial profiled rib of the cover collar flange. The axial flame passage of said smoke-producing pyrotechnic composition has a diffuser that is adjacent to the emission hole of the body. There is a driving means that has the form of protrusions distributed over the grenade body surface and is used to engage riffling grooves of a weapon barrel.

EFFECT: enabling visual identification of the centre of a grenade impact from the fire position by a long-lasting smoke trace, visible even in case of deepening the grenade into the ground.
