PRACTICE SHOT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: ammunition for conducting of firing practice at training of personnel. SUBSTANCE: the practice shot has a case filled with a charge of smoking pyrotechnical compound with an axial transfer channel accommodating the fire initiating device secured in the head of the shot, the outlet central stepped hole in the bottom part of the case is closed with a cover on the side of the propellant charge. The axial fire transfer channel of the smoking charge is cone-shaped expanding downwards, the initiating device represents a primer detonator of a standard inertia-reaction fuse, and a gas-proof spacer adhered to the case end face is installed over the cover of the central outlet hole. EFFECT: simplified design of the practice shot and procedure of its manufacture due to unification of the hardware with the firing device, enhanced self-descriptiveness of firing practice and reliability of functioning of the product, reduced expenditures connected with personnel training to the ways of aimed fire. 1 dwg
