FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular, to the production of soft magnetic composition parts. It may be used for the manufacture of stator and rotary cores of electric machines. The powder composition contains iron-based soft magnetic powder, the particles of which are covered with an electrically insulating layer, and 0.05-2 % weight of lubricating material from the group including primary amides of saturated or unsaturated linear fatty acids with 12-24 carbon atoms. To prepare the composition, the iron-based powder and the lubrication are mixed, pressed, and heat treated if required. The resulting part has a density of ≥7.5g/cm3, a maximum relative permeability μmax≥600, a coercitive force Hc < 250A/m, a specific resistance ρ≥ 20mcOhm·m.
EFFECT: preparation of material for manufacture of soft magnetic composition parts with high specifications.
