FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: soft magnetic composite material contains iron powder with low oxygen content and is covered with electroinsulating non-organic coating. Particles of iron powder have electroinsulating non-organic silicate-containing coating, and namely high-modulus solution of silicates K or Na with modulus of 2.8 and higher at the following component ratio, wt %: high-modulus solution of silicates K or Na with modulus of 2.8 and higher - 0.3-1; iron powder with low oxygen content is the rest.
EFFECT: invention allows considerable reduction of prime cost of soft magnetic material.
