SUBSTANCE: invention relates to group messaging. The effect is attained by the following: at the desktop of each group user, a data communication icon is displayed, which may be used by the interactive group members for the interaction with one another and participating in various mutual activities. The icon has multiple attributes including the click activation modes and the drag-and-drop functionality. The icon provides each group member with the representation of interactions in the group. Any group members may change the group icon and provide the communication of this change to the other group members' computers. The icon may be activated both for verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as for mutual activities. The interactive group members are notified about the group and activity status by the status bar displayed.
EFFECT: increase in user interaction convenience during group data communication.
