FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to treatment of recurrent pterygium. For this purpose surgical procedure is performed, and after surgery prospidinum is singly introduced dosed 30 mg subconjunctivally. Method prevents disease relapse due to cytostatic, antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory action of prospidinum not causing general and local by-effects if dosed as specified.
EFFECT: disease relapse prevention.
