FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be applied for treatment of 1 degree pterygium. Laser coagulants are applied throughout the area of pterygium chequerwise, in quantity, sufficient for complete coagulation of pterygium-feeding vessels. Impact by semi-conductive diode laser with wavelength 532 nm is performed. Parameters of impact: spot diameter - 100-200 mcm, exposure - 0.1-0.2 m; power - from 300 to 750 mW.
EFFECT: method ensures regress of pterygium and its vessel network due to impairment of blood supply, reduction of ablation trauma due to chequerwise application of coagulants.
