FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to unfritted glaze compounds, which can be used for coating ceramic tiles, preferably made from low-grade red-burning clay. The glaze consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO2 48.0-54.0; Al2O3 12.0-19.0; B2O3 9.0-12.0; Fe2O3 1.5-2.5; CaO 9.0-12.0; MgO 1.0-2.0; Na2O 1.0-2.0; K2O 1.0-2.0; SrO 0.5-1.5; ZrO2 2.5-3.5; MnO2 1.5-2.5.
EFFECT: increased resistance to abrasion of the glaze.
