FIELD: manufacturing of microblades.
SUBSTANCE: in the process of stock polishing, which stipulates electrolytic polishing of wire stock surface, the stock is moved progressively when immersed into electrolyte, and duration of pulses and distance between pulses of applied voltage is selected so that the relation of etching (polishing) rate to the speed of movement is equal to tangent of required angle of sharpening.
EFFECT: simplifies manufacturing process; provides possibility of sharpening angle regulation; possibility to produce matrix with large quantity of identical microblades in one cycle.
