FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio location and may be used for generation of a train of radio pulses. The transmitter (T) of the pulsed radar incorporates an exciter, an output power divider, power amplifying units (PAU), an output power adder. Here, every PAU consists of a modulator, a protection unit, a power divider, amplifiers and a power adder, the number of the T amplification channels being equal to N, where N≥2, the PAU amplification channel number being equal to K, where K≥2, and the said power dividers and adders are constructed on the basis of cascade-type directional or binary-connection couplers that are quadrature bridges of power division and multiplication, respectively.

EFFECT: generation of output signals with preset power and low nonlinear distortions.
