FIELD: radar equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar equipment and can be used to monitor the technical state of receiving channels (RC) of receiving-transmitting modules (RTM) of active phased antenna arrays (APAA). Test signals are transmitted simultaneously to all receiving channels of the APAA RTM and as test signals in the proposed technical solution, a coherent packet of N rectangular radio pulses of the carrier frequency, power of each of which lies in the power range, significantly lower than the level of intrinsic noise of the monitored channel, and the duration is matched with the channel bandwidth; test signal (TS) from the output of the TS generator through the zero channel of the passive TS divider is supplied to the input of the reference receiving channel, which is additionally included in the APAA; results of monitoring the technical state of the receiving channels of the APAA RTM are transmitted from the corresponding outputs of the comparator unit to the decision output unit practically simultaneously.

EFFECT: high efficiency and reliability of results of monitoring the technical state of the receiving channels of the APAA RTM.
