SUBSTANCE: universal book holder comprises pair of cover members for forming an inner space to receive a book therein when being folded and for supporting both sides of the book when being unfolded, a supporting unit, a string, a clamp and a supporting frame. The supporting unit has a receiving groove formed longitudinally thereon. The string installed longitudinally in the supporting unit to fix the back of the received book. The clamp is used for fixing the pages of the received book.
EFFECT: portable book holder allowing a user to read a book disclosed thereon anywhere and in different attitudes.
