FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to devices for cleaning gas media from spray mist, condensation particles of which do not exceed 1 mcm, and can be used in any type of industry, where such an operation is required in technological or ventilation processes. The separator has a case with connection pipes for input of aerosol and output of cleaned gas, precipitating elements, stabilising devices and a reservoir for collecting the precipitated coagulant. The precipitation elements are in form of thin-walled metallic cylinders coaxially assembled, with space between the cylinders δ=6 mm. The ratio of the length of the precipitation element to the equivalent diameter of the gap L/De=250.
EFFECT: simpler and cheaper structure of the purifier and increased efficiency of purification of gas media.
