FIELD: devices for purification of gaseous mediums in any branch of industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a laminar separator of aerosols and is dealt with the devices used for purification of gaseous mediums from aerosols of fogs which condensation particles do not exceed 1 micron, and may be used in any industry, where in technological or ventilation processes there is a need in the similar operations. The separator consists of a body with branch-pipes for feeding of an aerosol and withdrawal of purified gas, stabilizing contraction tubes, grids-enlargers of small-sized drops, a bin of collection of a settled coagulant, settling elements. The settling elements are assembled out of thin metal plates gathered in parallel with a slot-type clearance of h = 4 mm, located vertically and providing a developed turbulent mode of a flowReD3 ≥ 4800 of purified gas. The ratio of a length of a settling element to an equivalent diameter of the clearanceL/D3 = 250. The device provides a highly effective separation.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a highly effective separation of aerosol.
