FIELD: engines and pump.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumping units feeding fuel into the flight vehicle power plant. The pumping unit has a housing with a stator and a rotor including a drive shaft (DS) with a variable capacity and constant capacity pumps fitted thereon. The variable capacity pump incorporates driving plate (P) with the blades and a covering plate fitted on the driving shaft. Between the aforesaid plates there is a drive plate moving relative to the driving plate. The stator is provided with the stops. The covering plate is provided with a circular bulge contacting with a part of the driven plate surface, the bulge accommodating a seal ring moving relative to the circular bulge of the covering plate with the driven plate moving relative to the driving plate. The driving plate and one of its stops, as well as the covering plate and the other stop are fitted so as to forms a space (S) between the driving plate and one of the stops and the plate, i.e. between the covering plate (P) and the other stop. There is a space (S) arranged between the driving plate and covering. The said spaces (S) communicate with the working medium feed-and discharge elements.
EFFECT: higher reliability and longer life, lower fuel temperature in the system.
