FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to heat power engineering and, in particular, to devices for solid fuel firing and heat power plants and state district power plants ash-and-slag waste processing in melted slag to be bubbled by oxygen-containing gas and to production of power-generating steam. The said technical result will be achieved in chamber for solid fuel firing in melt. Chamber includes caisson duct, side and end tuyeres with nozzles, arches, hearth, loading facilities and fittings to discharge liquid and gaseous melting products. According to invention, embedded and bedded caissons are installed along the whole perimeter of caisson duct in chamber hearth. Caissons are installed at depth of 10-12 calibers of tuyeres and with pace equal to 1-3 thicknesses of embedded caisson.
EFFECT: improvement of operational reliability of chamber for fuel firing in melt owing to design improvement.
