FIELD: medicine; psychiatry.

SUBSTANCE: from first day of treatment within first 10 days mexidol is introduced intravenously drop-by-drop in a daily dose 100-125 mg n combination with intramuscular injection of 0.1 % immune-corrector thymogene solution dosed 1-1.2 ml once every 2 days in number of 10 injections. Diazepam is injected intramuscularly dosed 10 mg once a day in number of 20 injections. Pharmacotherapy is accompanied with hyperbaric oxygenation with excess pressure 0.8-1.0 atmospheres, at compression and decompression rate 0.1 atmospheres per minute, isopression period is 40 minutes, once a day. For the next 10 days tabletted mexidol is taken in the same dose.

EFFECT: method provides quick reductions of all psychopathological symptoms due to nonspecific influence to neurohomeostasis.
